As part of Groundwork’s Landscape Services, Groundwork Greater Manchester creates greener and better places for people within the Greater Manchester area. The Green Space service employs professional surveyors to help residents restore and maintain their gardens and properties. A team of surveyors will visit a client’s home to undertake the necessary maintenance and landscape work. To help run this service, the GDS team constructed a platform, using Zoho appliances, to organise the records of customers and visits. In the application, users can register new customers, manage the details of their order and keep track of all the measures carried out. By uploading photos straight into the application, e.g. using a tablet it is easy for the project staff to share the status before and after a work has been done.
