Vieri started as a volunteer in Groundwork in 2010 and joined the GIS team in 2013. Holding an MSc in Environmental Sciences he is currently working on completing an MSc in GIS at Kingston University. Thanks to his experiences working with spatial data collection and analysis for various companies such as Google, Vieri has an advanced knowledge of GIS software, geo-data processing, data querying, database and workflows design. Proficient in cloud database platforms such as Zoho and Salesforce, he is currently developing customised applications and CRMs for managing various Groundwork projects.
Thomas leads Groundwork’s specialist mapping (GIS) and data management services. Thomas holds Masters and PhD in Geophysics and following a career in academic research in Europe and India, joined Groundwork in 2008. Thomas is a Fellow of Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) and Chartered Geographer (GIS) and specialises in developing bespoke geospatial analytical tools integrating sociodemographic information with client's legacy data. As a consultant, he leads number of strategically important projects for Groundwork London- redevelopment of Mayor of London's crime and safety database (SafeStats); customer engagement and reporting system for the biggest water efficiency programme supporting major water utility clients in London and South of England. Areas of interest: Place based geospatial insight and analytics; Real time data capture & Analytics; ArcGIS Enterprise; Social Impact Mapping; Salesforce based Customer Engagement Systems
Kristin Gill received a Master’s degree from The Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2022. While at the Bren School, she took classes in advanced GIS, data analysis, data visualization, and conservation planning. Through these classes, she further developed her skills in ESRI’s ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, R, Python, and SQL. In a conservation planning class, Kristin worked with a classmate to use ArcGIS Pro to determine runoff hotspots and optimal locations to place green infrastructure in Maunalua Bay, Hawaii. Now, Kristin is excited to work with Groundwork in the UK and support its geospatial and data management services.
Peter has many years’ experience of working with data, including data analysis, database administration and software development (building tools for data collection, data visualisation, data flow automation and statistical analysis). He has previously managed several projects including a Global Employment Outlook survey and several tracking surveys for various clients including major banks and airlines. Peter joined Groundwork UK in August 2022
Revanth is a post-graduate with an MSc in Data Science from The University of Bristol (2021-22). As the Data Support Officer, Revanth is a member of Groundwork’s Water Efficiency Programme Team. He plays a crucial role in ensuring the coordination and the smooth day-to-day running of the programme. He specifically provides effective reporting and comprehensive admin support of all systems and databases associated with the running of the programme. He intends to apply his programming and data analysis skills nurtured and developed through his master's degree to solve real-world problems.
George is an under-graduate student studying Human Geography at Birkbeck University of London. He helps with development and maintenance on various projects within Salesforce CRM, such as our Green Doctor's programme, and Zoho creator where he works on ensuring projects run smoothly and are kept up to date. He also provides support on the GIS projects which we work on here at Groundwork, and is proficient in PowerBi reporting. He has been building on his skills whilst being a part of the team, where he started as an intern in our West Community Team, as well as bringing in skills he has learned on his under-graduate course.
