Carriers for Causes is a grant program run by Groundwork for One Stop stores which aims to help improve lives and local places. Local groups in the community that are within a two mile radius of their store can apply for funding of up to £1000. This will cover the direct costs needed to deliver projects such as new sports equipment, improvements to community buildings and plants for a community garden. 

To support this work Groundwork GDS produced an online map that lets applicants search by postcode for the nearest store they can apply to. This then displays a radial marker of two miles around their location showing the stores with funding available. Potential applicants are also provided with a link through which they can apply for a grant.
